Princess Beatrice's Friend Says She's a 'Fantastic Mum' to Wolfie and Sienna, Who 'Looks Exactly Like Bea'

Gabriela Peacock said it's "lovely to see my best friend growing into this next stage of her life"

Motherhood came "very naturally" for Princess Beatrice.

The 35-year-old royal and her sister, Princess Eugenie, are the subjects of Hello! magazine’s latest cover, where one of Beatrice’s close friends told the outlet that she is thriving as a wife and mother. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter is married to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, with whom she shares daughter Sienna Elizabeth, 2. Beatrice is also a doting stepmother to Edo’s 8-year-old son Christopher Woolf, affectionately known as Wolfie, whom he shares with his ex Dara Huang.

"Bea has such a good heart and she’s such a kind person, so motherhood came very naturally to her; she’s a fantastic mum. She's had Wolfie in her life since she and Edo met and has always been incredible with him," celebrity nutritionist Gabriela Peacock told Hello! in a story published on April 8. "She is extremely nurturing and involved with both kids' lives. It’s lovely to see my best friend growing into this next stage of her life and to share it with her."

"Sienna is absolutely gorgeous and looks exactly like Bea. She's really cheeky and has a very good personality," Peacock added.

Peacock's insight echoed proud grandmother Fergie's previous comments that Sienna is a "mini Beatrice."

While Princess Beatrice and Edo have never shared a photo of their young daughter’s face, Sienna has inherited her mom and grandmother's red hair. In April 2023, Princess Eugenie shared a picture of her son August, now 3, having fun with cousin Sienna at an aquarium. The undated shot showed Sienna from behind, highlighting her strawberry blonde locks. In fact, her hair hue even inspired her name.

Princess Beatrice’s friend added that she was happy to see her pal in such a positive place.

"She has a lovely family life, she's extremely successful in her career and she has a nice social life. I don't think I've ever seen her so happy," Peacock told Hello! "She's got the best husband, and she and Edo are a perfect couple and great team. They are so happy and in love and complement each other so well."

Huang recently spoke about how Wolfie is surrounded by love as he grows up thanks to caring co-parenting with Edo and Beatrice.

"Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, 'The more, the merrier,' " the Florida-born architect and designer told Harper's Bazaar U.K. in an article published last month. "I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him — because it didn’t have to be so easy."

"It's all about your point of view," Huang explained. "I don't understand people who are divorced and then hold their children as collateral; that doesn't make any sense. It’s about creating a happy home and lifestyle."

Wolfie adorably made his Together At Christmas carol concert debut in December 2023, where he arrived at Kate Middleton's event hand-in-hand with Princess Beatrice. The youngster previously joined his father and stepmother for church on Christmas in Sandringham in December 2022 and at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee Pageant in June 2022.

Beatrice became the first member of her generation of the British royal family to step into the role of a stepparent when she married Edo in July 2020 (where Wolfie participated in the scaled-down wedding as a page boy!), and a source told PEOPLE that she embraced the special role from the start.

"Beatrice is a wonderful and very hands-on stepmom," the source said at the time.

In honor of World Book Day in April 2021, Princess Beatrice spoke about bonding with Wolfie over books as he was home-schooled during the COVID-19 lockdown.

"This year, I had the great honor to become a stepmother and have had the most remarkable time going back over some of my most favorite stories at bedtime," Princess Beatrice told the Evening Standard. "Together, we had such a special time reading through all the entries for Oscars Book Prize 2020."

When Beatrice and Edo later announced the name of their daughter Sienna a few weeks after she was born in September 2021, they added that "Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna."

In September 2023, Edo celebrated his daughter’s birthday with a loving tribute on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday Baby Girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day," the proud dad wrote below a photo of Sienna walking and wearing a sombrero with a floral dress — one of Princess Beatrice’s go-to fashion patterns.
