Princess Beatrice is a sweet niece to Princess Anne!

On Tuesday night, Beatrice, 35, stepped out for a date night in London with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, to attend the opening of The OWO in Whitehall. The luxury hotel and residence, which was formerly Britain’s Old War Office, opened its doors following a six-year renovation and boasts a royal location. The OWO was built on the historic site of Whitehall Palace and overlooks the Royal Horse Guards near St. James’s Park, just a mile away from Buckingham Palace.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter posed for photos with her husband as they made their way in, where Edo likely checked out the transformation with an expert eye. The property developer serves as CEO and creative director of Banda Property, and he frequently posts photos of glamorous client projects on his Instagram page.

The date night doubled as a show of support for Princess Anne, who did the honors of officially opening The OWO. The Princess Royal, 73, inaugurated the space by revealing a plaque engraved with the name of the new space, her title and the date on stage with executives from the Hinduja Group and AccorHotels, who helmed the redevelopment.

The OWO will welcome the public starting on Friday and features 120 hotel rooms and suites, 85 private residences, nine restaurants, three bars, a spa and a ballroom, a statement said. In its previous iteration, the Old War Office was frequented by former Prime Minister Winston Churchill and was featured in five James Bond films, the Daily Mail reported. The Tuesday kickoff celebration was also highlighted by a performance from Andrea Bocelli and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Princess Beatrice and Edo’s latest night out came a week after a sweet family milestone: their daughter Sienna’s second birthday. Sienna was born on Sept. 18, 2021, a little over a year after her parents married in July 2020 in a scaled-down wedding to heed government COVID restrictions in place at the time.

To celebrate his daughter turning 2, Edo shared a celebratory tribute on Instagram with a new photo of the toddler. The never-before-seen shot Sienna from behind, strolling outside while sporting a floral dress (one of her mom's go-to patterns!) and a sombrero.

"Happy Birthday Baby Girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day," the proud dad captioned the snap.

Sienna’s birth made Edo a dad of two, as he shares a son Christopher Woolf (who is affectionately nicknamed Wolfie) with his ex-girlfriend Dara Huang. In an announcement made shortly after the new addition, Beatrice and Edo said, "We are all doing well, and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna."

Sienna is currently 10th in the line of succession to the British throne, just behind her mother, and like many of her cousins, she is named in honor of loved ones. Princess Beatrice chose a moniker that incorporated several thoughtful nods to her mother, the Duchess of York, including the hue of the locks they share — which Sienna has inherited!

"They were looking for an Italian name which started with an S for Sarah, to honor the Duchess, and also reflected the golden rust color of both the Duchess's hair color and Beatrice's which the new baby shares," a source previously told Hello! magazine.

Sienna’s middle name is Elizabeth in honor of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Beatrice's grandmother. Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, chose the same tribute and named her daughter Lena Elizabeth. A mom of three, Zara shares daughters Mia Grace and Lena, and son Lucas Philip (a nod to Prince Philip) with her husband, Mike Tindall.
