Princess Beatrice knows sequins shouldn't be reserved for the weekend.

Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter, 35, attended a London party on Tuesday night celebrating the opening of Monique Lhuillier's London flagship store in Mayfair. Princess Beatrice shined in one of the designer's creations — a sequined dress in rose gold paired with a matching capelet.

Lhuillier shared photos and video of the evening, which she called, "Not your typical Tuesday night in London!"

"Thank you beautiful girlfriends for your love and support. It was so special to gather and see everyone look so beautiful in the collection! Thank you for the heartwarming welcome to London," the designer said on Instagram. "I wanted to celebrate women tonight - after all, YOU are my inspiration! Nothing like a room full of incredible women supporting each other and championing other women. So blessed to have you all in my life! Truly an unforgettable evening!!"

Princess Beatrice's statement ensemble resembled a look worn by her cousin Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, earlier this year. For Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan's royal wedding banquet in June, Princess Kate sparkled in a gown by Jenny Packham in a similar shade of pink. Topping off her look was a special accessory: Queen Mary's Lover's Knot tiara.

Although the Princess of Wales has worn the tiara (and a few other headpieces from the royal collection!) on multiple occasions before, the glamorous moment marked the first time Kate has ever worn a tiara outside of the U.K.

Princess Beatrice had a special tiara moment of her own at the same event. For the wedding banquet, Beatrice sported a pink gown with flared sleeves and gold embellishments by Reem Acra — complete with the York tiara. The special headpiece was bought by Queen Elizabeth for her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and worn by "Fergie" at her 1986 wedding to Prince Andrew.

It marked Princess Beatrice's first time wearing her mom's accessory — and only her second time wearing a tiara!

Princess Beatrice made her tiara debut like many British women of the royal family: at her wedding. She glittered in the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara for her July 2020 nuptials — the same headpiece worn by her grandmother Queen Elizabeth at her royal wedding to Prince Philip.

The Queen's daughter, Princess Anne, also wore the same tiara for her own wedding day in 1973.

"The Queen saved this grand tiara specifically for Beatrice. It was always reserved for her as they are exceptionally close,” a source told PEOPLE of the historic tiara, calling it “arguably the most sentimental [piece] lent from the Queen yet.”

Princess Beatrice was actually double booked on Tuesday night. In addition to the Monique Lhuillier event, she was also spotted leaving Clarence House after a private 75th birthday party for her uncle  King Charles.

She joined Prince William and Princess Kate (who wore an emerald green gown for the bash), Zara and Mike Tindall; David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon; Lady Sarah Chatto and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
