Tee Anderson of Tuscaloosa said that when he created the Princess Ball concept three years ago, the ultimate goal was to bring fathers and their daughters closer together.

Anderson's event planning company, JustTee, will host its third Princess Ball from 5-9 p.m. Feb.4 at the Bryant Conference Center, 240 Paul W. Bryant Drive on the University of Alabama campus.

Anderson said he hopes the event will strengthen father-daughter relationships, a bond Anderson said he believes is very important.

"The father's influence in his daughter's life is to shape her self-esteem, her self image, to build her confidence. it also helps her form her opinion of men," Anderson said.

Formal attire is recommended, but Princess Ball guests are encouraged to dress at their level of comfort.

The event will include special appearances by Disney princess characters and more.

Anderson said Tinsley is very hands-on with organizing the event and seems to really enjoys it.

"She absolutely loves the Princess Ball. She feels like it's an opportunity for her to meet new friends and to see other daughters with their fathers," Anderson said.

"She feels like it's a big party for little girls and their dads," he said.

Anderson said guests can receive discounts on select items if they mention the Princess Ball 2023 at Classy Threads and On Time Fashions.
