Prince William Revealed He Reads a Book to Son Prince Louis That Would Make Princess Diana Proud

As Princess Diana once said, “Someone’s got to go out there and love people and show it.” During her lifetime, she focused on humanitarian matters such as helping with the AIDS crisis, homelessness, and more. And now, both of her sons focus their efforts on homelessness. Prince William even goes above and beyond, reading something about homelessness to his youngest son, Prince Louis.

As Hello! previously reported, when William hosted a Buckingham Palace garden party on May 21, he revealed Louis’ bedtime ritual, which included reading him a very important book.

When author Rowan Aderyn spoke with him, he gifted him a copy of their book Homewards (named after William’s homelessness charity that Aderyn is a part of). When he gave William the book, the Prince of Wale said, “This is great, so inspirational. I’ll read this to Louis tonight at bedtime.”

The book is all about a young boy named Jack who begins helping a lady experiencing homelessness.

We love that William teaches his three children about charity work both at royal events, and in the privacy of their homes. This isn’t the first time William has talked about teaching his children about humanitarian work, and we’re sure Diana would be proud of her grandchildren learning how important these subjects are to discuss.

Since William and Kate Middleton’s nuptials in 2011, they have since welcomed three children named Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6.
