Looks like Prince William traded in his signature navy blue suit for a morning suit and a top hat to host the Sovereign’s Garden Party (on behalf of his father, King Charles) at Buckingham Palace on May 21.

A slideshow filled with pics and vids taken at the annual celebration was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s Instagram page. One snap shows the future king looking quite dapper in his garden party attire while talking to guests.

The third slide features a clip of Prince William, 41, walking down the palace steps while his cousins—Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike Tindall—trail behind him. However, the Prince of Wales was not accompanied by his wife, Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer.

For the occasion, Beatrice, Eugenie and Zara wore coordinating pink and white ensembles while Phillips and Mike opted for black suits and top hats.

Earlier this month, King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the first garden party of the season. In a striking photo (snapped by royal photographer Jordan Pettitt), the royal pair presented a united front, standing side by side in their stylish attire.

For the event, Her Majesty, 76, donned a chic black and white dress with a matching abstract brimmed hat and stylish vintage Chanel heels, according to Hello! Magazine. As for the king, 75, he sported a gray tailored suit with a black top hat, a baby blue vest top, a white collared shirt and a blue tie.
