Summer is the time for travel, but the royal family is really going all out. Kate Middleton and Prince William are on family vacation number two in Scotland.

Ahead of Prince George and Princess Charlotte heading to school this fall, the Cambridge family of five were seen disembarking at 8:45 a.m on the FlyBe flight from Norwich to Aberdeen, Scotland.

Kensington Palace didn’t provide a clear answer as to why the family was traveling, but it’s believed that the Cambridges will be making their annual trip to visit the Queen Balmoral. For this trip, the family flew commercial (in contrast to the private jet controversy surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) and were rather discreet about it, as well. A passenger on the plane shared with the Daily Mail, “the family were sat right at the front. I fly this route all the time and we were none the wiser. No one knew they were on the flight.” Who knew privacy and discretion could be the royal treatment?

Prior to their family excursion to Scotland, Prince William and Duchess Kate took their family to Mustique just last month. While there, the family had a private celebration for Prince George’s sixth birthday. A source shared with The Sun on their first family vacation of the summer, “it is incredibly private and incredibly discreet but not remote. They know and trust the staff who work there and they are creatures of habit. Kate used to go there, the Middletons used to go there. The family love it.” We would love it too. Can we come next time?
