Prince William & Kate Middleton Might Be Taking a Page Out of Harry & Meghan's Book with This Latest Media Venture

Only months after Meghan Markle’s podcast Archetypes was canceled, and Prince Harry’s filed ideas with Spotify were released, Prince William and Kate Middleton are entering the podcast world — but not in the way you’d think.

On Sept 9, Mike Tindall’s podcast entitled The Good, The Bad & The Rugby released an episode featuring William, Kate, and Anne, the Princess Royal while at Windsor Castle, talking all things rugby!

They talked about William’s connection to the sport, along with mentioning the “only time” he’s ever cried watching a sport and why he hopes his kids will adore team sports. Kate added onto his points with their three children, and Anne recalled her daughter’s equestrian career, per DailyMail.

Not only did this happen months after Meghan’s podcast ended, it also happened ahead of William and Kate attending the Rugby World Cup matches in France.

Now is this the first time the three royal members have guest-starred on a podcast? Nope!

Back in 2021, Anne appeared on the OnFARM podcast, and in 2022, William guest starred on Cate Blanchett’s Audible podcast Climate of Change.

As for Kate, she appeared in a 2020 episode of the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, and rumors spread that Meghan allegedly wanted Kate to come on as a guest, despite their ongoing reported feud.

While some may seem it as a jab to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it isn’t the only time they’ve worked in this media venture; and it goes in line with their goals of modernizing the monarchy.
