Prince of Peace Players to perform an island musical

Apr. 4—The Prince of Peace Players are working on a musical that they will present in the Little Theatre at The Lighthouse School, formerly Ashford University.

"Once On This Island Jr." is a story of an island girl named Ti Moune who feels it is her destiny to help save another life because she was saved when she was younger. She meets a boy from another part of the island and finds how love is stronger than death.

"With the help of gods and her parents she sees that love conquers all and this is why we tell the story," said director Tom Jankowski.

There will be three performances April 11-13 at The Lighthouse School (formerly the Ashford University campus) in the Mulaney Theater. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. with showtime at 7 p.m.
