Prince Memoir to Be Released This Year

He submitted 50 pages of the autobiography shortly before his death

Shortly before his passing in 2016, Prince signed a book deal for his autobiography. Sadly, he was only able to submit 50 handwritten pages before his death, but the memoir is still being released, as Variety reports. According to publishing agent Esther Newberg, Prince worked with author Dan Piepenbring on the book, which will be released near the end of the year. The book “may include reproductions of Prince’s longhand pages.” When the biography was initially announced, it was described by the publishers as “an unconventional and poetic journey through his life and creative work.
