Prince Harry Re-Creates Princess Diana’s Charity Photo

Prince Harry recently re-created a photo that his late mother, Princess Diana, took in 1995.

The prince went on a motivational run with the homeless youth and volunteers from the Running Charity, a charity promoting running to improve the lives of youths who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

While visiting the hostel where the homeless teenagers stay, the prince noticed a photo of Princess Diana prominently displayed on the hostel’s wall and decided to re-create the photo in the same location, 22 years later.

Princess Diana was a patron of more than 100 charities and opened the Depaul Trust Hostel in June 1995 to benefit vulnerable youths. Prince Harry and Prince William have followed in her footsteps with their charitable involvements.

Prince Harry credits Princess Diana for inspiring his charity work: “It’s something that our mother did a lot of, and that’s the time that you really get to learn, you get the experiences, and you actually get the honest truth out of people.”
