Prince Harry is now 'The Rebel With A Cause'

The next few seasons of “The Crown” are about to get a whole lot juicier. It was announced not too long ago that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally made the bold choice to live in the United States. This allegedly hasn't gone down so well with the Queen and drama behind the scenes has been rumored to ensue. Many have come out of the wood works to blame Meghan Markle for her alleged “overbearing” influence on Prince Harry, but on the flip side, this seems to be a choice made on behalf of Prince Harry’s search to create normalcy for his family.

From the time their union was announced right now, it’s obvious that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven't had the easiest of rides when it comes to not only the dissection from the British Press but inward aggression from the drama with family on both sides. The fact that they’ve made such a progressive move to break the monarch's standards shows how profoundly important their relationship, along with the wellbeing of their child is. Any spectator who claims to be genuinely appalled by such a decision must not have been paying attention to the history of Meghan and Harry’s love affair.

If someone had to describe who the perfect woman for Prince Harry to wed would’ve been like it’s highly doubted the idea of Meghan Markle could have been the first choice. Not to downplay her beauty or her status as an actress, it’s just when it comes to the prestigiousness of how the monarchy handles unions of such stature the woman must be of perfection. But, Meghan wasn't and it is believed to be part of her appeal. She was everything the monarchy didn’t expect nor never in recent years really had. If you were to compare Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton to them, it is an absolute sunrise and sunset. There is almost no shared characteristics between either party. Prince William in many ways with Kate chose the safe option. He didn’t dare teeter too far to the left or lean anywhere to the right, and so when you dissect both relationships it’s as if Harry and Meghan are painted to be the rebels, and William and Kate the saints.

In their documentary that aired last year, the pain was even more palpable, especially with Meghan. When asked how tough life had been more recently in terms of having baby Archie and dealing with such harsh public scrutiny, there were tears welled up in her lion-like eyes. She was vulnerable and didn’t shy away from the fact that life was difficult. Harry himself didn't fall far from the tree by acknowledging that his relationship with brother William was a bit rocky. So, when you dive into it this move to America is actually an intelligent solution. But, Meghan is definitely going to get the brunt of all the bad press. Every go against the grain choice that involves her and Harry is attributed to her alleged manipulativeness. In all honesty, this move to America might be a wake up call the monarchy needs.
