The Queen was spotted for the first time today after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step down as 'senior royals.'
With her trademark stiff upper lip firmly in place, she took out her Land Rover and drove from Sandringham to Norfolk for a shoot this morning.
Looking at the monarch, it seems like such a frail woman at such an old age deserves the chance to sit back and relax, enjoying the fruits of her labor.
But now, one of her favorite grandsons has pressed the button on a bomb, detonating a furious storm that will see repercussions for possibly years to come.
How Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Plan On Becoming "Financially Independent?"
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision looks petulant, selfish, and egotistical; it shows the absolute arrogance of a couple who would prefer to be celebrities overworking royals, but still want to keep one toe in the honeypot.
Their claims of wanting to be financially independent come without any details of how this may be done. Not only that, but they plan to keep living at Frogmore Cottage, a home that was refurbished for them at a cost of millions of pounds to the taxpayer.
They Want To Work In "Collaboration" With The Queen
But, the worst part of it all? Their claims that they plan on working in "collaboration" with the Queen, as if they are Instagram influencers and the monarchy is just a brand they're promoting on their page.
The Queen, Prince Charles, and Prince William are said to be furious at the fact that an announcement was made on the Sussexroyal Instagram page, and they were given just 10 minutes notice.
There has clearly been a storm brewing between the rest of the royal family and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex for quite some time, but did anyone think it would come to this?
Royal Commentators Are Not Holding Back
Royal commentators are not holding back in their scathing reviews of the situation, with Dickie Arbiter telling the Daily Mail, "The Queen will bear this latest insult with the stoicism with which she has faced every other challenge in her life. But make no mistake, an insult it is."
He continued, "And Her Majesty will doubtless be feeling very let down right now, by a grandson she doted on. Ever since William and Harry lost their mother, the Queen has been their trusted confidante."
Clearly, a "trusted confidante" she is no longer. And, what will this mean for Prince Harry's relationship with the Queen and the rest of the royal family? We'll have to wait and see.
