Last summer, there were rumors that Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, were crashing and burning as they tried to parlay their royal lives into lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix. Today, those can all be put to rest as Deadline reports new projects are in the works between the Sussexes and the beloved streaming giant.

According to the industry publication, "the pair have two non-fiction projects in production at the streamer. They form part of the overall deal that she and her husband, Harry, the Duke of Sussex, signed with the company in 2020 via their Archewell Productions banner."

While details are still scarce, one show will see Meghan celebrating "cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship" and all the joys that come along with them. The second show will chronicle the world of professional polo with a focus on the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. Royal fans know that Harry has been a lifelong fan of the sport and the show will "pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport."

The Sussexes aren't the only big names attached to the two upcoming series. Meghan's still-untitled show will have Selena + Chef’s Leah Hariton as its showrunner and Michael Steed, who worked on episodes of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, will direct. The team behind the polo show will include alums from Netflix’s Chef’s Table; Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?; and Sex, Love, & Goop.

While there are no release dates just yet, the shows are in the early stages of production. The new projects follow 2022's Harry & Meghan docuseries plus Live To Lead and last year's Heart of Invictus. Today's news doesn't include the fact that Archewell Productions acquired the screen rights to Carley Fortune’s Meet Me At The Lake in 2023, which means that there's plenty of material coming from Harry and Meghan.

Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, explained that the couple had several projects in development during a Next on Netflix event in February.

"They have a couple of unscripted things they're working on with Brandon [Reigg]," Bajaria said, according to Hello! "And they actually have like a bunch of development. They have a movie in development, a [scripted] series that they're working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show, and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie's great."
