Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Nicknames for Each Other Are So Simple & Sweet

Just about every couple has a series of pet names they use for each other rather than slogging through their partner’s full name every time. And Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no exception. While we could never quite envision these two ex-royals calling each other nicknames like “sweetie pie” or “baby,” their real nicknames are sweet, simple, and perfect for this low-key (well, trying to be low-key) couple.

One-half of their nicknames was previously revealed in documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, in which Meghan refers to Harry as “H.” But a new report in People has revealed Harry’s nickname for Meghan too, and it’s simply “M.”

A close friend of the couple spoke with People about how H and M are doing in their post-royal lives. According to this source, Harry and Meghan are “real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs.” That’s exactly how Brad Pitt has been describing himself lately too — maybe they should all hang out?

“Archie is the priority,” the source added. “It’s very much still about taking care of him and putting the family first. He’s a happy kid — he loves to laugh. Archie and Harry have such a good time together. And Meghan is a great mom. She’s very much about tending to him. They are trying to live their life as regular parents.”

As for the Sussex couple’s future plans? “It’s full throttle for them right now,” the source reported. “They have a lot happening in 2020, and it will be really exciting to see.” We don’t doubt it!
