Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Share Precious New Photo of Baby Archie in Canada for Year-End Review

Winter weather is no match for the smallest Sussex! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just shared a new photo of baby Archie on vacation in Canada, and two things immediately spring to mind at the sight of the snapshot. First, baby Archie looks perfectly cozy in his cold-weather gear (That hat! Those booties!). And second, this father-son moment is precious enough to melt any heart.
On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex included the as-of-yet unseen photo in their year-end review video. In the photo, Harry is holding the couple’s 8-month-old son in front of gorgeous British Columbia scenery. It’s hard to pinpoint the best part of the pic: Archie’s smile, his oh-so-snuggly outfit or the way proud dad Harry is looking at the toddler. Upon sharing the video (and, in it, the new photo) to their Sussex Royal Instagram account, Harry and Meghan sent out their hopes for a happy 2020 to followers.

Upon closer inspection, Harry and Meghan’s new photo of baby Archie gets even sweeter. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Archie’s tiny UGG boots were a gift for the then-future royal from Australia’s Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife when the Duke and Duchess toured Australia in October 2018. Archie’s bobble hat was also a royal tour gift — it was made by a charitable women’s group called Make Give Love, which donates a hat for each hat purchase made. Harry and Meghan are reportedly such big fans that they’ve since ordered several more.
