Holiday Away From The Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking a well-deserved break for the holidays. The couple has been dealing with a mountain of stress this year between the birth of their firstborn son, Archie (a wonderful thing!), and dealing with insane pressure from the British paps (a terrible thing!).

It's safe to say that this lovely couple deserves some time away. After spending the last two holiday seasons with the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan will be enjoying the festivities this year in Canada with her mother.

The Most Adorable Christmas Card

Even though they're jetting off to Canada, the couple still released an adorable Christmas "card" through their charity, The Queen's Commonwealth Trust. Instead of a more traditional photo, it's a sparkly gif featuring a black and white image of the family featuring baby Archie front and center. The organization tweeted out the image, saying:

"Just sharing the sweetest Christmas Card from our President and Vice-President, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone!"

Could Meghan be wearing a more gorgeous sweater?

Spending Time In Canada

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted out a holiday greeting to the couple (and of course Baby Archie), welcoming them to Canada for Christmas.

"Prince Harry, Meghan, and Archie, we’re all wishing you a quiet and blessed stay in Canada. You’re among friends, and always welcome here."

Markle spent a lot of time in Canada while filming her television series Suits, so she has long consider the country a second home. They will be spending the holidays with her mother, Doria Raglan. The proud grandma is sure to love some special time with Archie!

They Deserve A Break

The couple certainly deserves a break after all that they've been through this year. Meghan got candid in an interview for their documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, admitting that her new job as a Royal can be difficult.

"Any woman, especially when they're pregnant, you're really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it's a lot. So, you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed.

Thank you for asking. Not many people have asked if I'm OK, but it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes."

Seriously, this woman deserves some holiday cheer.
