Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are Reportedly ‘Reconnecting’ With William & Kate’s Confidantes

While it’s no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been buddy-buddy with Princess Eugenie and her husband, it seems they’re reportedly getting friendly with another royal couple. No, it’s not Prince William and Kate Middleton, it’s reportedly their confidantes, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

Despite having an ocean between them, Prince Edward Wessex and Sophie Wessex have been bonding with Harry and Meghan.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk that “the relations between the couples have not previously been close.”

Fitzwilliams added that this friendship could even heal their rift with the royal family, saying, “there has been no evidence that Harry and Meghan and Edward and Sophie have specifically fallen out. Were the Sussexes to connect with them, they have, unlike Princess Eugenie, real influence; who knows what the result might be!”

Now, along with being reported friends with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Edward and Sophie have been super close with William and Kate for years. Kate and Sophie have been photographed laughing and bonding at many royal events over the years, and recently, both Kate and William were on Edward’s rugby podcast. It’s also been reported that they’ve become the Prince and Princess of Wales’s confidantes since the royal title shakeup after King Charles III ascended to the throne.
