Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are Committed to Raising Charitable Kids, Says Pal Nacho Figueras

The next generation of benevolent royals is underway. According to Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, his close pal Prince Harry plans to raise charitable children with wife Meghan Markle — and, obviously, the royal role models will start with their firstborn, baby Archie.

Figueras recently shared a few words about his famous friend as a father. According to UsWeekly, when asked if he thought Harry and Meghan would teach their kids the importance of giving back, Figueras confirmed that it is likely a given. “We both love helping people,” the athlete said of his good friend. To that end, the polo legend and wife Delfina Blaquier are releasing a new fragrance collection with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Sentable — a charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso which provides mental health support for children and young adults affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.

Of course, at just seven months, baby Archie probably doesn’t quite grasp the concept of philanthropy yet. But Harry and Meghan are laying a solid foundation for future acts of altruism by spending as much quality time with Archie as possible. Of Harry’s parenting, Figueras gushed, “He’s just so happy. We both love children, and he is very happy now that he is a father.”

The world thinks they know everything about this man. I have been fortunate enough to spend enough time over the years to learn and understand the man he really is, a kind, generous, compassionate person who is constantly thinking about how to make the world a better place, wether that is helping kids in Africa, talking openly about mental health, encouraging children or talking about climate change and the things that we all human beings need to change for the next generations. Is Harry so happy that he’s perchance adding another little royal to his brood? That’s certainly been the talk of the rumor mill in recent weeks. However, another source told Us Weekly that — despite speculation to the contrary — Meghan is “not pregnant” yet. However, the insider did claim that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hope to conceive by the end of next year, saying, “Their family is their No. 1 priority.”

The U.K.’s Express published a report on Thursday that seemed to corroborate the insider’s theory about a 2020 royal sibling for baby Archie. Per the publication, leading bookmaker Coral has the odds at 1-3 for Harry and Meghan making a big announcement soon. Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead told the outlet, “We think that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are almost certain to add to their family in the next eighteen months or so.”

Regardless of when that add to their brood, though, one thing sounds certain: Harry and Meghan will raise baby Archie and any future siblings to be givers.
