Prince Harry adores fatherhood, and even his close friends can't help but comment on how he's embraced it in recent years.

While at Florida's Royal Salute Polo Challenge charity match on April 12, Harry's friend Ignacio "Nacho" Figueras commented on his royal pal's relationship with children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet and said he's a joy to watch when it comes to handling them.

"Prince Harry is doing very well, and I admire how he has fully embraced fatherhood over the past couple of years," Figueras said, noting that Harry "loves being a dad" to Archie and Lilibet. "He loves parenthood. I admire him so much as a parent."

Parenting easily to Prince Harry thanks to the emotional support system that he has in place with his partner, Meghan Markle. "He has a great and supportive wife in Meghan Markle," Figueras said. "Seeing Prince Harry so involved with his children and happy with his great wife is heartening."

Fatherhood is a job that Harry takes very seriously. While speaking with Dr. Gabor Maté in March 2023 about his memoir, Spare, Harry explained that his own childhood experiences has inspired him to always give Archie and Lilibet the attention and care that they needed.

"I have two kids of my own, making sure that I smother them with love and affection," Harry said during the conversation. "But in the sense that I as a father feel a huge responsibility to ensure that I don't pass on any traumas or negative experiences I've had. And that's work; that's putting in the work, and daily, being conscious of my behavior, of my reactions to both of my kids."

He continued, "There are times when I catch myself in a moment when I should be smothering them with that love, and in that moment, I might not be, reminding myself [to]. I wouldn't have been as aware of it had I not done the therapy and work that I've done."
