Prince Harry, passionate conservationist, met Dr. Jane Goodall, conservationist leader and go-to expert on all things chimpanzee, at a summit of youthful conservationists at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, and the result was a dance of like minds.

"I’ve been admiring her work since I was a kid and it was so wonderful to find that she was even more amazing in person. She even treated me to a chimp welcome which only Jane can do. Well... and chimps!," gushed Harry, speaking at the Roots & Shoots global leadership meeting at St. George House on the Windsor Castle estate.

One of the pictures of their meeting shows the Duke of Sussex, 34, greeting the widely admired Dame Jane, 85, and doing a little dance.

Both were casually dressed, she in a blue blouse and scarf, her snowy-white hair pulled back in her distinctive ponytail.

"Jane, if I may, and I agree that young people have the power, the compassion and the tools to save our planet," Harry told an audience of young people from around the world. "I hope you all know what a big job we have to do. I say we – I still include myself in this."

Goodall is best known as a primatologist/anthropologist and the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, after spending more than 55 years studying wild chimps at the Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania.

She founded Roots & Shoots in 1991 for young conservationists to work on projects aimed at making the world better for people, animals and the environment.

Starting with just 12 Tanzanian high-school students, Roots & Shoots today involves youths in more than 50 countries with members ranging from preschool age through university, according to Buckingham Palace.

So it was the perfect fit for Harry, who has worked with multiple wildlife conservation projects in Africa over the years and was named a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Besides, Harry lives nearby at Frogmore Cottage on the castle estate, with his wife, Duchess Meghan of Sussex, and their new baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The couple are preparing to make an official visit to southern Africa, taking along little Archie, in the fall.

She is still on maternity leave, although she appears with Harry for occasional events, such as Wimbledon matches or the London premiere of the "The Lion King" on July 14.

In his speech, Harry quoted Her Majesty in urging young people to continue working on solutions for some of the world’s most pressing problems.

"As my grandmother the queen, once said: ‘Sometimes the world’s problems are so big we think we can do little to help. On our own we cannot end wars or wipe out injustice, but the cumulative impact of thousands of small acts of goodness can be bigger than we imagine,’ " Harry said.

And as usual when it comes to royal engagements, especially those involving Harry, a cute pooch, a cockapoo named Bella, was featured in picture greeting His Royal Highness.
