7:58 p.m. FINAL SCORE: Trinity Christian 55, Prince Avenue 28

The Lions complete a perfect season 14-0 while the Wolverines fall to 13-2 in an attempt at back-to-back state titles.

7:37 p.m. Trinity Christian adds FG

The Lions take a 52-28 lead with 8:25 to play

7:29 p.m. Dallas scores on short run

Trinity Christian adds 7 more on a 12-yard David Dallas run to take a 49-28 lead early in the fourth quarter. Can the Wolverines match it to stay in the game?

7:21 p.m. Philo scores on run

The Wolverines pull within 42-28 after a 16-yard Aaron Philo touchdown run late in the third quarter.

7:13 p.m. Philo to Dewitt for another score

Prince Avenue isn't out of this one just yet. Aaron Philo hits Elijah Dewitt for a 2-yard TD on 4th and goal and the Wolverines pull it to 42-21 with 3:03 to play in the third.

6:50 p.m. Philo throws third INT

Trinity Christian's defense is nearly as potent as its offense, intercepting the Prince QB for the third time tonight. Trinity Christian scores two plays later and takes a 42-7 lead with 11:24 to play in the third quarter.

6:24 p.m. Score at the Half: Trinity Christian 35, Prince Avenue Christian 7

6:22 p.m Aaron Philo to Elijah Dewitt for a touchdown

Prince Avenue is on the board with six seconds to play in the first half. Philo to Dewitt for 2-yard touchdown. Wolverines put together 6-play, 65-yard drive in 1:10 to cut lead to 35-7.

6:13 p.m Trinity with another pick-6

Yep, 2 minutes later and more points for the Lions. A 34-yard interception return gives them a 35-0 lead with 1:10 to go in the first half.

6:11 p.m Trinity piles on more points

Trinity Christian adds another score, a 15-yard pass from David Dallas to Javan Harrison and the Lions lead 28-0 with 1:23 to play in the first half.

5:58 p.m Trinity strikes again

The Lions have scored on a nice juggling grab by Aaron Gates, the University of Florida commit, and now lead Prince Avenue 21-0 with 7:26 to play in the first half.

5:49 p.m PACS hanging around

The Wolverines have forced another punt and get the ball back at their 28 with 10:36 to play in the first half. Still just 14-0 Trinity.

5:34 p.m PACS with huge break

The Wolverines recover a questionable fumble in the end zone after Trinity Christian broke off a long catch and run. Trinity's Aaron Gates stretched the ball toward the plane of the goal line and the ball came out at some point, either after hitting the ground or just before crossing. Either way, it's PACS ball at the 20. Now the Wolverines are driving with the ball at midfield and just under 2 minutes to play in the first quarter.

5:30 p.m Prince just short of TD

The Wolverines turn the ball over on downs at the 1/2 yard line. You can understand why they'd go for it there, needing TDs and not 3 to keep up with the Trinity Christian offense.

5:21 p.m Pick-6 for Trinity Christian

Bryce Wilcox returns an Aaron Philo interception 34 yards for a touchdown and Trinity Christian takes a 14-0 lead with 7:43 to play in the first quarter.

5:15 p.m Key stop for Prince Avenue

It's early in the game, but Prince Avenue forces a punt from its own 46 and will take over at the 20 after it rolls into the end zone. With Trinity's big-play offense, allowing another score there, even with 8:36 to play in the first quarter, would have been significant.

5:08 p.m Trinity Christian scores on first play

One play, one touchdown for Trinity Christian, which averages 52.85 points per game. The Lions take the 7-0 lead on a 65-yard pass from Western Michigan QB commit David Dallas to Florida ATH commit Aaron Gates.

5 p.m Prince Avenue wins the coin toss

Ten captains took the field for Prince Avenue; assuming they're all seniors. The Wolverines win the toss, defer to the second half. About time to kick this one off.

4:35 p.m Brock Vandagriff in the House

No surprise, UGA QB Brock Vandagriff, last season's star quarterback for Prince Avenue Christian and son of coach Greg Vandagriff, is on the sidelines for this one. He will be in Miami next week where he said, "That'll be a lot warmer."

4:00 p.m. Prince Avenue Christian takes the field for warmups

An hour before kickoff and the Wolverines and Trinity Christian have taken the field in preparation for the 5 p.m. kickoff. The teams took the field about 10 minutes after Hillgrove's flag football team defeated Marietta for a state title.
