Prime Video Schedule July 3-9: New TV & Movies Being Added

80 For Brady and The Horror of Dolores Roach are topping the Prime Video schedule for July 3-9.

Starting Tuesday, July 4, Prime Video subscribers can watch 80 For Brady, a hilarious comedy that premiered earlier this year. Directed by Kyle Marvin from a script penned by Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern, the movie follows the real-life story of a group of friends and their journey to watch their idol Tom Brady play at the 2017 Super Bowl LI. 80 For Brady is led by an all-star cast of Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field. Joining them is seven-time Super Bowl Champion and producer Brady. Additional cast includes Sara Gilbert, Harry Hamlin, Billy Porter, Glynn Turman, Bob Balaban, Ron Funches, Jimmy O. Yang, and more. The movie grossed about $40 million during its theatrical run over a $28 million production budget.

On Friday, July 7, the Amazon-owned streamer will drop the dark comedy thriller series The Horror of Dolores Roach. Based on the Spotify podcast of the same name, the upcoming show will deal with several themes, including love, betrayal, weed, cannibalism, and survival of the fittest. The show follows Dolores Roach’s attempt to get her life together after serving an unfair 16-year prison sentence.

The cast includes Justina Machado, Alejandro Hernandez, Kita Updike, and K. Todd Freeman. Original podcast creator-writer Aaron Mark wrote and executive produced the upcoming series, where he’ll also serve as showrunner. Executive producers are Dara Resnik, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie, Dawn Ostroff, Mimi O’Donnell, Justin McGoldrick, Gloria Calderón Kellett, and Roxann Dawson.
