‘Price Is Right’ Contestant Trolls Fellow Contestant on ‘This Week in Game Shows’

When Mercedes, a contestant on The Price is Right this week, warned her fellow contestant, Samuel, that he better not bid $1 after her bid, he did what any competitive game show contestant would do: He bid $1.

Neither of them won a prize on that particular bid, which allowed time for Samuel to elevate himself from just being competitive to being a flat-out troll. Because when Mercedes decided to bid $1 the next time around, Samuel joked that he was going to bid $2 on top of her. Host Drew Carey thought that was hilarious, so Samuel went ahead and bid $2, much to the chagrin of Mercedes. She got the last laugh, though, because she eventually made her way onstage and all the way to the showcase showdown before losing.

Elsewhere in the world of game shows, it was Teen BFFs week on Wheel of Fortune, and the show did its best to appeal to a younger crowd, with puzzle answers like “Zac Efron” and “Sending Silly Screenshots.” And on Family Feud, Steve Harvey sent a contestant back to her spot and chided her for an inappropriate answer.
