Sen. Cory Booker, who last week declared his candidacy for the 2020 presidential election, is playing coy about his significant other.

"I got a boo," he said Tuesday on radio show The Breakfast Club. "Before I declared for president, I’m dating someone that’s really special to me,"

Booker, 49, laughed off questions about whether his status as a bachelor could affect his White House chances.

"First of all, there’s two more years until I might fulfill this duty, so give me some time," he said. "My girlfriend might listen to this."

He also added, "I think that if Donald Trump can get elected president at this point with the personal life that he has, then anybody can."

It's hard to say whether Booker could be referring to Rosario Dawson, with whom he had a movie date and caught a Broadway show back in January.

Neither has publicly addressed the speculation.

Booker is one of a number of people who have announced their candidacy in recent weeks. Senators Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Kirsten Gillibrand are among the politicians currently making major headlines.
