President Trump and first lady Melania Trump marked their 15th wedding anniversary on Jan 22.

And although neither marked the milestone on social media, the White House did pay tribute to the first couple on Instagram by sharing a snapshot of the two dancing to violinists in the building's Great Hall.

"Happy 15th anniversary, President @realdonaldtrump and @flotus!," the caption read.

The two first met at a party thrown by mutual friend Paolo Zampolli in September 1998 for New York Fashion Week, right before the real estate mogul had finalized his divorce from his second wife, Marla Maples. Trump reportedly asked for her number, but she refused.

"I knew who he was, and I said, ‘Give me your number, and I'll call you back," she responded.

"If he gave me just his office number, that would show he's not very serious," Melania continued, according to The New York Post. "It shows how a man sees a woman, and how he treats a woman."

After a few rocky breakups, Trump proposed to Melania at the 2004 Met Gala with a 12-carat ring that was reportedly valued at $1.5 million dollars.

"It was a great surprise. We are very happy together," the former model, then 33, told reporters.

Echoed Trump: "We've had a great relationship. We've been together for five years and it was really time."

The couple tied the knot in a very high-profile wedding in January 2005, held at Episcopal Church of Bethesda by the Sea in Palm Beach. Melania reportedly wore a $100,000 gown designed by Dior for the ceremony, which included over 550 hours of embroidery. She later changed into a body-hugging Vera Wang gown for the celebrations.

Katie Couric, Heidi Klum, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Matt Lauer, Billy Joel and Kelly Ripa, as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton, were among the 500 guests at the star-studded nuptials. The reception, of course, was held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, with Elton John and Tony Bennett serenading the couple over the course of the evening.

“If I didn’t have a great woman, I would be much more nervous," Trump told People at the time. “I think it will be very successful.”
