President Trump's Make America Great Again Committee emailed supporters last week for feedback on the first lady.

The email contained a three-part questionnaire asking participants about how favorably they viewed Melania Trump and solicited feedback on whether or not they felt she should assume a more public role in the White House.

"The mainstream media has been publishing polls showing the American people’s strong support for first lady Melania Trump. Even the media can’t deny her poise, class and patriotism. We want to be sure that an accurate portrayal of Melania Trump’s support is given," the email read.

This is not the first time the president's campaign committee has created its own poll. Last year, the Trump team asked supporters to take a 30-item Mainstream Media Accountability Survey, featuring questions like, "If Donald Trump said or did half of the things Hillary Clinton has, the media would effectively end his candidacy."

However, Thursday’s “Approval Poll” for Melania Trump was the first survey centered around the first lady to be distributed by the committee.

The email was reportedly sent out the same day CNN released a poll in which Melania Trump was named the most popular person in the White House.

According to the outlet's data, 44 percent of respondents said they had a favorable opinion of the first lady whereas Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka Trump, both shared a 41 percent favorable rating among those polled.
