Wolves defender Ryan Bennett has taken to social media to plead for help after his £60,000 car had its wheels stolen.

The 28-year-old defender’s BMW was parked outside his home on Saturday night when the robbery took place, leaving Bennett understandably furious and out of pocket.

Bennett labelled the people responsible ‘scumbags’ and asked for anyone to contact him if they knew anything. He later confirmed that there were ‘lock in wheel nuts’ on the vehicle.

“Nice to wake up and see some scumbag has came and taken all my wheels!” Bennett wrote on his Twitter

“Anyone get offered 4×5 wheels with Dunlop tyres let me no!”

Bennett has started all four of Wolves’ games this season after they won the Championship last year and his post has been shared hundreds of times by fans looking to help.

There has been no indication that the offenders or the wheels have been found.
