Pregnant Jenna Dewan’s ‘Met Gala Look’ Has Us Reconsidering Everything

Jenna Dewan doesn’t just know a thing or two about dancing. She apparently also knows a thing or two about fashion. The Step Up star shared a bumpdate on her Instagram Story that had us reconsidering everything we knew about style and those who wowed at the Met Gala red carpet.
“Met Gala ain’t got nothin on this look,” she wrote over a mirror selfie of her in what looks to be a bouncy castle. In it, the star of The Rookie is confidently rocking a fitted gray romper, denim jacket, baseball cap, and white tube socks.

Well sh*t. What’s the point in getting all glammed up and probably aching at the end of the night when you can be chilling in cotton? We tip our hats to all the pregnant celebrities who take pregnancy fashion to new heights on the Met Gala steps. After all, some of our favorite red carpet looks from moms-to-be have come from the fashion industry’s Super Bowl. But wow! Dewan might be on to something.
She has posted several bumpdates, but this is the first that jokingly called out Anna Wintour. In February, she stripped all the way down, and sat on the edge of a bathtub, wrapping one arm around her breasts and the other on her bump. And in March, she looked radiant in a gray two-piece set.
The actress announced her pregnancy in January, telling Romper that this would be her last pregnancy. “You don’t race to the end because this is the last time. So there’s a bit of joy and a little sadness.”
“I’m really trying to enjoy it all and not try to just get through the days,” she continued.
Dewan is expecting her second son with fiancé Steve Kazee (along with 4-year-old Callum) and shares 10-year-old daughter Everly with ex-husband Channing Tatum. Last month, Dewan told People that Kazee has been “amazing,” making sure she has her food cravings and “constantly” reminding her to rest.
“Third pregnancy while chasing two other kids around definitely makes you a little more tired,” she said. “I find crawling into bed at 9 p.m. is definitely different this pregnancy. But overall, everything’s been going well. And it’s been wonderful. But I’m without a doubt a little bit more tired.”
