Pregnant Emily Ratajkowski shares nude pic: 'I’m going to miss this bump'

Emily Ratajkowski is savoring the remaining months of her pregnancy with a nude selfie that makes her feel like a "fertility goddess."

The 29-year old model posted a bare Instagram portrait on Thursday as she prepares for a spring birth with husband and producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. "Sometimes I feel like Winnie the Pooh in human form, other times like a fertility goddess with a juicy butt," she wrote. "I took this on a day where I was feeling the latter. Either way I know I’m going to miss this bump and those kicks very soon." In October, while 20 weeks, Ratajowski also shared a nude image, writing on Instagram, "Getting to know my new body."

Ratajkowski shared her pregnancy in an October video for Vogue directed by friend Lena Dunham, who told the outlet that the project was the “opposite of a People magazine baby announcement.” Over clips of herself lying in a bath and snapping nude selfies, Ratajkowski said, "I dreamed of you for the first time the other night. We were wondering who you will be."

However, the I Feel Pretty star and her husband chose to not learn the sex of their unborn baby. In an October essay for Vogue, she explained, "I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible" adding, "I want to be a parent who allows my child to show themself to me."

Ratajkowski mused about life with either a son or a daughter: "…it’s shocking to realize how early young boys gain a sense of entitlement—to girls’ bodies and to the world in general."

She added, "I still fight subconscious and internalized misogyny on a regular basis, catching myself as I measure the width of my hips against another woman’s. Who is to say I’d be able to protect my daughter from it?" It's trodden ground for Ratajowski, who recalled feeling sexualized as a teen model in a 2020 social media caption and in a 2019 essay for Harper's Bazaar for which she showed off armpit hair that made her feel "sexy.
