A Prairie Little Christmas event takes place in December
Oct. 9—A Prairie Little Christmas takes place Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3 in Corsicana with a variety of events for fans of the classic television show, "Little House on the Prairie." The family drama ran on NBC from September 1974 to March 1983 with 204 episodes, four specials, and a television film. The two day event features a variety of activities starting with the Prairie Christmas Dinner taking place at 7 p.m., Saturday Dec. 2 at the Corsicana Opry, located at 215 Fifth Ave. The dinner includes a cast member Q&A with stories and memories from the show. Tickets are $150 per person, and is limited to 200 guests.
A VIP breakfast with the "Little House on the Prairie" cast takes place 8:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, at the Corsicana Opry. Tickets are $100 per person, and is limited to 165 guests.
There is a cast member meet and greet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., for both Saturday and Sunday, at Pioneer Village, located at 912 W. Park Ave. Admission is $10.
