Prabhas to Play a Cop in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit

Prabhas is currently basking in the success of his latest action drama Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. While the actor is receiving a lot of praise for his bit in the movie because fans are calling it his comeback, he also has a few projects in the pipeline. One of them is his collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit. However, the makers have not revealed details about this collaboration.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently helmed Animal with Ranbir Kapoor. The filmmaker has received mixed reactions from the audience. While some found the film disturbing, others enjoyed it and also praised Ranbir’s acting skills. The director is now focusing on his upcoming film Spirit. His brother, Pranay Reddy Vanga, recently spilled beans on the film and revealed what role Prabhas will play.

Prabhas’ character in Spirit revealed

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Pranay Reddy Vanga recently revealed that Prabhas will play a cop. Pranay mentioned that only Sandeep Reddy Vanga knows what he has planned with the movie. As he will come across more details, he promised to reveal them to the publication. He added, “It’s a cop role. Only Prabhas is there, Sandeep is there and Bhadrakali Pictures and T-Series is there.”

Pranay Reddy Vanga continued, “Prabhas sir is wearing a cop’s dress for the first time. So, that is something all the fans are very happy about.” He added that Prabhas will play an angry young man role in the film. Vanga further mentioned that Spirit will go on floors in six to seven months. Spirit will mark Prabhas’ 25th film of his career. Sandeep Reddy Vanga will also work with Allu Arjun in one of his upcoming projects whose deets are under wraps at the moment.

Fans are excited to see how Sandeep Reddy Vanga will use Prabhas’ impeccable acting skills in Spirit. The film’s release date has not been revealed yet.
