Prabhas’ Next Film Kalki 2898 AD Release Date Confirmed, Claims Report

After the success of Prabhas‘ Salaar, fans are now waiting for the actor’s upcoming film, Kalki 2898 AD. As such, the recent buzz is around the film’s release date. According to the current reports, the makers will announce the release date this week. The speculations indicate that the movie is expected to hit theaters on May 9, 2024.

A mythological science fiction, Kalki 2898 AD is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswin Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. The film features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in lead roles.

Earlier, Nag Ashwin revealed the release date of Kalki’s first trailer during the Tech Fest 2023 at IIT Bombay. He disclosed that the audience can expect the trailer just after 93 days (83 days as of this writing). As it is, the makers and casts are currently busy creating hype among the audience for the film’s grand opening at the box office. Ashwin also claimed that the audience will witness a developed and unique future in Kalki 2898 AD.

As mentioned earlier, recent speculations suggest that the makers of the film will unveil the release date of the film this week. The movie may reportedly hit theaters by May 9, 2024. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet.

Aside from getting attention from fans due to the premise and lead cast, Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD is considered one of the highest-budget films of 2024. The budget of the film will be around $72 million. The high budget of the film suggests the exceptional use of VFX.

In other news, Prabhas’ recent film, Salaar, is on the road to crossing $84 million at the box office collection.
