Powerhouse Hobbs‘ recovery is underway.

AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs has been sidelined since he suffered an injury against IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley on the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. The injury was reportedly significant, and it was said to require surgery.

On May 13, Hobbs took to Twitter to confirm that he had surgery. He noted that it had been three weeks since the procedure. Hobbs wrote that it was Patellar tendon repair. He shared a clip of himself doing physical therapy.

As of this writing, there is no word on how long Hobbs will be out of action. WrestleZone wishes him well, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.

Powerhouse Hobbs’ Statement

Powerhouse Hobbs recently posted a statement about his injury. Hobbs expressed his frustration and wrote that nobody comes back the same from an injury. He noted that the only choice was to come back better. He bowed to bring hell with him upon his return.

Hobbs is a former TNT Champion, and he has been featured on AEW television as a member of the Don Callis Family in recent months.
