‘Power’ Final Season to Be Split Into 2 Parts on Starz – and It’s Getting an Aftershow

The sixth and final season of Starz’ “Power” will be split into two parts, the premium-cable channel revealed during the Television Critics Association’s press tour Friday. The first half of the Courtney Kemp-created drama will debut Aug. 25 and consist of 10 episodes, with the second part, which will be five-episodes long, premiering in early January 2020. An aftershow, “Power Confidential,” has also been set to air following each of the final season’s episodes, Starz programming boss Carmi Ziotnik told reporters.
