'Pour Another Round' Outdoor Winter Beer Fest returning to Green Bay with 21 craft breweries

GREEN BAY - You can count on plenty of cold ones at the “Pour Another Round” Outdoor Winter Beer Fest, it’s the part about dressing for the weather that could be tricky.

Twenty-one craft breweries from across the Midwest will be serving outside from 1 to 4 p.m. March 9 at Badger State Brewing. It’s the second year the “Pour Another Round” beer podcast, hosted by Derrick Zimmerman and Jonathan Eckelberg, is bringing the event back to Green Bay. Last year's festivities featured 15 breweries.

Guests will be able to enjoy unlimited tastings poured by someone who works at the brewery, not distributors or local volunteers, making it a prime opportunity to ask questions about the beers and the businesses.

What the weather has in store during a winter that has sometimes felt like January one day and June the next is anybody’s guess, but fire pits are part of the plans.

  • Copper State Brewing, Green Bay

  • Hillsboro Brewing, Hillsboro

  • Hinterland Brewery, Green Bay

  • Hop & Barrel Brewing, Spring Valley, Minnesota, and Hudson

  • Hop Yard Ale Works, Appleton

  • Karben4 Brewing, Madison

  • McFleshman’s Brewing, Appleton

  • MobCraft Beer, Milwaukee

  • New Glarus Brewing, New Glarus

  • Noble Roots Brewing, Green Bay

  • Sabbatical Brewing, Manitowoc

  • Skeleton Crew Brew, Onalaska

  • Stillmank Brewing, Green Bay

  • Stubborn Brothers Brewery, Shawano

  • Titletown Brewing, Green Bay

Tickets, which include a commemorative glass, are $35 in advance at pouranotherround.com and $45 at the gate. Designated driver tickets are $10.

Food will be available for purchase from Scrapyard Smokers and The Portly Fowl.
