Travis Kelce says Post Malone got tattoos of his and Patrick Mahomes' signatures after 2020 Super Bowl

It looks like Post Malone is going to be a Kansas City Chiefs fan forever — or at least for as long as he has his tattoos dedicated to the team and its two star players.

During a new episode of their New Heights podcast, brothers Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce talked about the Super Bowls of the past and present, which prompted the tight end to recall a memorable moment with Malone after the Chiefs won the 2020 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

“So me and Pat, I don’t know if you knew this, Post Malone got our signatures on his arm,” Travis, 34, began the anecdote, referring to his team member, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28.

He went on to explain that they attended Malone's concert in Kansas City after the big game in Miami, admitting that they were “s---faced” from the victory parade prior.

But before the “Circles” singer, 28, hit the stage, he asked Travis and Mahomes to engage in a friendly round of beer pong — which eventually got competitive.

As Travis recalled, he and Mahomes were smoking Malone with their skills, which encouraged the Grammy nominee to make a bet, one that would end up with him getting tattoos of his opponents' signatures if he lost.

Both football players reassured Malone that it was okay if he didn't commit to the bet, but let’s just say the “Sunflower” singer — who's been getting inked since 2015 — likes to follow through with promises.

“He had a tattoo artist sitting right there, he just happened to be right there in the back room. We beat him, put our signatures on a piece of paper and I’m pretty sure after the show, he went straight over to that tattoo artist and got it tattooed. Man of his word, which I f---ing respect,” Travis recounted, adding that Malone also got the Chiefs logo inked somewhere on his body.

Mahomes told his own version of the situation in an interview with GQ published in July 2020.

That definitely was not the last time Malone was convinced into repping the championship-winning team.

After this year’s game in Las Vegas, during which he sang “America the Beautiful,” Malone performed at an afterparty, where Brittany Mahomes removed the Dallas Cowboys bomber jacket he was wearing and replaced it with a Chiefs topper, as captured by PEOPLE.
