Pose star Angelica Ross is working it, both onscreen and off, with her latest fan-approved move coming via an ad campaign for Louis Vuitton, in which she’s rocking her natural hair.

Ross has been on a roll since becoming the first transgender actress to be a series regular on two shows in 2019 — first as Candy Johnson-Ferocity in the hit FX series Pose, and then by securing the role of Donna Chambers in American Horror Story: 1984.

Now she’s continuing to make her mark — as the face of Louis Vuitton in a horror-themed campaign in which she’s sporting an Afro and wearing chic snow boots, a tartan skirt and cropped black jacket.

Ross took to Twitter to post a couple versions of the powerful images, noting in one that she was the one to suggest the natural hair.

“I asked @LouisVuitton if I could rock my natural hair in an Afro and they came back with an enthusiastic YES RBF on,” she wrote.

It did not take long for the praise to roll in for Ross, including from Pose co-star Dyllón Burnside.

In addition to being a beloved actress and natural-hair representative, Ross has been an outspoken supporter of trans rights, leveraging her fame to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of trans women, especially those of color, being killed. In November, she traveled to Capitol Hill to honor those that lost their lives in 2019.

“Today, we honor the memory of lives lost in acts of anti-trans violence. In 2019, at least 22 trans people have been killed, the majority of them Black trans women. This is an epidemic- it's up to each of us to speak out. #TDOR #SayTheirNames #PhenomenallyTrans,” she tweeted.
