Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore Respond to Simon Guobadia Shade Amid RHOA Filming

Now that the Real Housewives of Atlanta are back for Season 16, they’re wasting no time letting the shade fly. By now, we’ve all seen the news that Kenya Moore will be back alongside her longtime nemesis, Porsha Williams. However, this season should look a little different. Instead of fighting with each other,  it looks like they’ll be teamed up to face the drama head-on.

And they’re starting with Simon Guobadia—Porsha’s soon-to-be ex-husband. Let’s get into it.

Porsha and Kenya team up to take Simon down

After seeing a photo of new RHOA cast member Shamea Morton’s brand-new Rolls Royce she received from her husband, Simon offered his congratulations… and shade.

“Congratulations, my good sis @shameamorton,” he wrote. “I’m so happy for you. My brother Gerald has excellent taste in fine automobile. Look forward to watching the only cast member with a [Rolls Royce on the upcoming season].”

Fans may remember that Simon gifted Porsha her own Rolls Royce a few years ago. His comment has people speculating that he took it back.

Simon’s comment, however, didn’t seem to impact Porsha. “Simon, don’t forget [Gerald is] a debt-free husband who is a US citizen. My bestie is winning {praise hands emoji]. Welcome to RHOA Queen Mumbi.”

It wasn’t long before Kenya clapped back with comments of her own, too.

“Simon — I have a RR, but I bought my own,” she wrote. “RHOA. #Selfmadequeen.”

Porsha and Simon announced their plan to divorce in February 2024, moments after Bravo confirmed Porsha’s return to the Real Housewives.

In a separate interview, Porsha said she’s ready to lay it all on the table this season, adding, “I am just ready to be me.”

“I’m ready to be transparent like I’ve always been. I think that’s something that has been missing…someone who can come on and be their authentic self.”
