Pornhub Launches Campaign to Shoot First XXX Film in Space

Space, the final frontier … and if Pornhub has its way, the setting for a groundbreaking happy ending.

Online adult-film repository (or so we’ve heard) Pornhub is teaming up with the studio Digital Playground to bring the concept of the Mile High Club to a whole new level. The two companies are making a bid to produce the first porn film shot in space.

Of course, much like the U.S. space program, they’re in dire need of funding, so they’re turning to the public, via Indiegogo, to forcefully thrust their vision into reality.

“With some help from our generous fan base and extended community, we can all make this happen. Our work is definitely cut out for us. We need to train and outfit our crew, consult with a dedicated team of specialists, purchase custom modified film equipment, and completely fund the use of the shuttle that’ll take us on our journey to space,” the Indiegogo page for the project reads.

“We’ve projected that the overall cost of this pioneering endeavor will run us about $3.4 million. By supporting us through the purchase of one (or several!) of our amazing perks, you have the opportunity to be a part of the most epic sex adventure ever caught on tape, causing lives to change, mouths to drop, and boundaries to be broken.”

And, hopefully, to answer the age-old question: Is it really true that, in space, no one can hear you cream?

The project, launched on Wednesday, has so far raised a piddling $1,042 of that $3.4 million, from 14 pioneering souls, but there’s still time — Pornhub and Digital Playground have 61 days to raise the cash.

And your contribution will not go unrewarded — those who donate $20 will be granted “Assteroid” status, which includes access to the “only live Q&A video chat with our sextronauts,” plus a Certificate of Endorsement and access to the final video 24 hours before it’s made publicly available.

The company has enlisted Eva Lovia (pictured above), the recently crowned winner of the DP Star 2014 Competition, and Johnny Sins for the mission.

While this would be the first sex tape filmed in space, it’s worth pointing out that sex in zero gravity has been captured on film before, notably in 1999’s “The Uranus Experiment Part 2,” in a scene between Silvia Saint and Nick Lang.
