Jealousy may be a green-eyed monster, but it could also leave you black and blue.

A man upset his ex-girlfriend made a pornographic film attacked her scene partner with a golf club after trying to run him over, though that jealous ex is the one who ended up hospitalized, the Los Angeles Times reports.

James Gosselin, 26, is accused of attacking a pornographic actor identified in legal documents only as “Hamilton” by ramming the actor’s motorcycle twice with his vehicle, then striking him with a golf club on April 2, the Times reports, citing the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Gosselin was jealous because Hamilton had made an adult film with his ex-girlfriend ‘Gia,'” the Times explained. The couple had broken up in February.

Hamilton reportedly knew Gosselin was his attacker because after his motorcycle was rammed, “he looked back to see Gosselin try and fail to put on a ski mask before exiting his vehicle wielding a golf club.”

Gosselin only actually struck Hamilton once, causing bruising, though he “swung and missed several times,” the warrant says.

It was actually Gosselin who got the worse end of the scuffle, as Hamilton tackled his attacker and punched him in the face, breaking Gosselin’s orbital bone, police told the Times.

Gosselin was briefly hospitalized and released ahead of his April 4 arrest.

Gosselin was charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and illegal possession of a loaded gun in public, as he admitted to police he had an “untraceable ghost gun” in his vehicle, police said.

He pleaded not guilty on May 3 and is scheduled to appear in Van Nuys Municipal Court on June 6. His attorney didn’t return the Times’ request for comment.

In the meantime, he’s free on $1 million bond, according to jail records.
