This week of course, brings the much-anticipated election, along with live Daily Show and Colbert to get you through it, the premiere of Top Chef's new season in Seattle, and an event certainly sexier than the election — Bond, James Bond.

SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden, National Geographic Channel 8 p.m.
You have to wait a little while until Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty hits theaters to tell the story of the brave Marines who led the team that killed Osama bin Laden. National Geographic Channel's version hits the airwaves today, but it hasn't been free of controversy – it's timing so close to the election is being criticized as a political move. The scandal-ridden, on-again-off-again, are-they-or-aren't-they Twilight couple takes to separate late night shows tonight – be careful, your DVR may explode! RPattz sits down with Jimmy Kimmel on ABC; KStew pays a visit to Jay Leno on NBC ahead of the release of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, out Nov. 16.

Flipping channels is the name of the game on election night – who will call the big states first and will we even know who the next president is before bedtime? The Daily Show and The Colbert Report will be fueling live comic relief with their election night specials, while CNN, MSNBC, Fox News and the networks will battle out their own election night ratings as results come in. Remember to vote!
Wednesday
Top Chef premiere, Bravo 10p.m.
Just in time for the holidays, a group of 21 budding master chefs descend on Seattle to compete for the title of Top Chef – and show us some smart skills and fancy recipes along the way. Who will be the Spike or Marcel or Carla of season 10?
Thursday
Glee, Fox 8p.m.
It's taken a few seasons (and it seems like an obvious one) but the Glee kids are at last doing Grease, thanks to Finn's suggestion in the last new episode a few weeks back. New shows return today, and this week casting for the annual musical begins. Grease is a safer choice than last year's Rocky Horror fiasco, but can the crew do the beloved 1978 movie justice? We already know there's an album on the way.
Friday
Skyfall opens in theaters
The wait is over! It's been four years since the last Bond film – and really, does Quantum of Solace even count? Finally, Daniel Craig and his abs return as Bond, James Bond, in Skyfall out today in theaters. It's getting great buzz and all the mysteries – like will M die?—will be revealed.
Saturday
Flight Behavior, by Barbara Kingsolver
If the weather outside is getting frightful where you are this weekend, curl up with a good book. The new novel from Poisonwood Bible bestselling author Barbara Kingsolver hits shelves and ebooks this week. The author returns to her native Appalachia for a story about a rural woman who discovers a miracle.
Sunday
Britannia awards, BBC America 8p.m.
Alan Cumming hosts the 25th annual Brittania awards, given out by BAFTA Los Angeles to some of the best and brightest in the industry and broadcast for the first time on BBC America. Bond himself, Daniel Craig, will be honored as British Artist of the Year, and Daniel Day-Lewis will receive the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film. Trey Parket and Matt Stone and Quentin Tarantino, are also among the winners.
