A popular Mexican BBQ restaurant is opening a second location in Paristown

Four years after Noche Mexcian BBQ opened inside a former church on Bardstown Road, the popular restaurant will open a second location.

Noche, which serves a mix of Mexican fare and Texas-style barbecue, will open inside The Village Market Food Hall & Bar in Paristown in later this month. The menu features tacos, burritos and quesadillas with proteins such as smoked brisket, chicken tinga, al pastor and carnitas. Other popular items include armadillo eggs (bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapeños), smoked wings, carne asada fries and seasonal cocktails.

Other establishments in the food hall include Bunz Burger, Sarap Filipino Eatery, Banditz Pizza and Jeff's Donuts. The food hall is steps away from Old Forester's Paristown Hall, which hosts concerts and other live events.

“The Village Market Food Hall & Bar highlights how vibrant the Louisville dining scene is, and we look forward to joining the other exciting concepts here,” Aaron Diaz, owner of Noche Mexican BBQ, said in a news release. “Our mission is to create places where people create memories, so we can’t wait to celebrate the holidays in Paristown.”

Noche will open in time for the fifth annual Fête de Noël, Paristown's six-week winter holiday festival that kicks off Nov. 25.

“We are excited about Noche Mexican BBQ joining the mix,” Wes Johnson, President of the Paristown Food and Beverage Group, said in the release. “Aaron’s fusion of West Texas BBQ and Mexican cuisine will be a huge hit with our daily lunch and dinner guests, as well as visitors from all over the area who attend our many festivals and events.”

The Village Market, 712 Brent St., is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
