Popular doughnut shop opens fourth Northeast Florida location in a year

After making its debut in Northeast Florida just over a year ago in Fruit Cove, Parlor Doughnuts has expanded, opening shops in St. Augustine and Jacksonville Beach.

On Friday, the 4-year-old Evansville, Ind.-based craft doughnut and coffee concept opened its fourth area shop, in Fleming Island at 1524 County Road 220, No. 4, in the Publix- and Target-anchored Fleming Island shopping center.

The doughnuts at Parlor aren’t your typical cake or yeast doughnut. Parlor doughnuts are layered doughnuts, made with layers of buttery dough fried to be crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.

The doughnuts are made-to-order in small batches and customized with a variety of toppings, yielding more than two dozen doughnut flavors ranging from the Plain Jane to Maple Pecan to Honey Glazed to Cookie N’ Cream, Caramel Bliss, Coconut Cream Filled and more. There are also Keto and gluten-friendly and vegan options. And for your pupper, there’s even the Doggie Doughnut. 

If you’re looking for something more savory than sweet to start the day, Parlor shops typically offer  Avocado Toast, Bacon Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, a selection of breakfast tacos, Spinach Pesto Breakfast Sandwich and more.

Also on the menu are more than 20 Doughboy Milkshakes, with flavors ranging from French Toast to Bourbon Caramel to Churro to Strawberry Shortcake, Dreamsicle, Raspberry and more.

Parlor’s other area shops are at 528 Beach Blvd., in Jacksonville Beach; 585 SR 13, Suite 101, in Fruit Cove; and 3920 SR-A1A N, Unit 5, in St. Augustine. A fifth area location is in the works in the World Golf Village area.
