Welcome to the new episode of the Billboard.com Pop Shop Podcast, Billboard’s weekly audio breakdown of the Billboard charts, hottest music news and year’s biggest musical events. Casual pop fans and chart junkies can hear Billboard co-director of charts Keith Caulfield and Billboard.com senior editor Katie Atkinson every Tuesday on the Pop Shop Podcast, which can be streamed on Billboard.com or downloaded in iTunes (click here to listen to the previous Tuesday’s edition of the show on Billboard.com).

This week on the show, we welcome Steve Aoki and Louis Tomlinson! The duo recently stopped by Billboard’s New York office to chat with our own Jason Lipshutz about their hit collaboration “Just Hold On,” which garnered Tomlinson (of One Direction fame) his first solo hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The guys talk about the songwriting process behind “Just Hold On,” how Aoki is entering new territory with is production and sound, and how we may see the two of them performing together on a number of festival dates later this year (and possibly even a gig in Las Vegas).

Plus, the Pop Shoppers preview Lady Gaga’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance on Feb. 5 and what we hope to see in the show. Will it be a hits-filled bonanza? Might she make a political statement? Could Beyoncé show up to sing “Telephone” with Gaga? We’ll have to wait and see!

In addition, we’ve got chart updates on movement in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, including new peaks for Zayn and Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker),” Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello’s “Bad Things” and Alessia Cara’s “Scars to Your Beautiful.”
