More from Billboard

On the new Pop Shop Podcast, our special guest is Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie. We caught up with Urie via phone recently to chat about his buzzy new music video for “L.A. Devotee” and more. The video is the latest clip from his No. 1 Billboard 200 album Death of a Bachelor and stars Noah Schnapp of the hit TV series Stranger Things. (Urie says he’d “love to” be a guest star on the show — “that would be amazing.”)

We also ask Urie — who is an incredibly visual artist and has released six music videos from his latest album — if he’s ever thought about making a visual album or long-form movie as a companion to an album.

“More and more I start thinking in that regard,” Urie says, “I’m so prepared to kick into gear and just figure out how to exactly make something like that happen, because that would be phenomenal – basing a movie around songs that I’ve written. It’d be such a cool idea.”

Also on the podcast, we’ve got lots of chart chat. We discuss how Lady Gaga scores her fourth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with Joanne, how Drake has a pair of songs that debut in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 (and where he ranks among acts with the most top 40 hits), and how Ariana Grande continues to climb the Hot 100 with her Nicki Minaj collaboration “Side to Side.”

Plus: Katie dishes on her experience at the final show of Gaga’s diva bar tour, where Katie was basically standing directly in front of Gaga for most of the evening!
