She joins David Corenswet (who plays Clark Kent/Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luther), Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio and Sean Gunn. Reportedly, Anthony Carrigan, Isabel Merced and Nathan Fillion have been cast as Metamorpho, Hawkgirl and Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, respectively.

Shor was the villainous Recorder Vim in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.

Superman Legacy is the first movie in the newly revamped DC Studios under Gunn and Peter Safran, the first phase entitled “Gods and Monsters.” It prepping a Georgia shoot and has a July 11, 2025, release date.

Said Safran about the new iteration of the Man of Steel back at a DC presser in January: “It’s not an origins story, it focuses on Superman’s balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He’s the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, he’s kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old fashioned.”

DC’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom opens on December 22 with an eye at a $45M-$50M four-day opening.

The Superman Warner Bros franchise, including Batman v. Superman, has grossed $2.56 billion worldwide across its seven titles.
