Roswell man wanted for punching woman in road rage incident now wanted on murder charges, police say

A man who made headlines for punching a woman through the window of her car in an Alpharetta road rage incident last year is now wanted on murder charges.

Alpharetta police put out a warrant for 27-year-old Fabien Perry’s arrest in October after photos showed him get out of a car and start screaming at a woman in a car ahead of him before he punched her in the face, giving her a bloody nose. Police believed Perry was angry that the woman didn’t move through the light fast enough.

It’s unclear if Perry was ever arrested.

Now, Roswell police are searching for Perry on murder charges in connection to the death of his girlfriend, 23-year-old Johana Samantha “Samy” Cabrales-Hernandez.

Roswell police responded to reports of a woman injured at a home on Old Ferry Way on July 6. Officers found Cabrales-Hernandez dead from a gunshot wound.

The victim’s family became worried about her welfare after someone dropped her two young children off abruptly at a nearby family member’s home. Police still don’t know who dropped the children off.

Family members said in a GoFundMe set up to pay Cabrales-Hernandez’s funeral expenses that the children are just two and 7-months-old.

Family members immediately went to Cabrales-Hernandez’s home where she was found dead.

Roswell police have secured warrants for Perry’s arrest and are now tryin to locate him. He’s described as five feet eight inches tall and 165 pounds. He is thought to be driving a four-door Honda Civic.

Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated domestic incident, but said Perry should be considered armed and dangerous. They believe that Perry has possibly left the state.
