One person dead after argument inside southeast Atlanta hair salon

Officers told Channel 2 Action News one person is dead after a shooting inside of a salon in southeast Atlanta.

Police said they were called out to In The Mixx hair salon on 205 Moreland Ave SE about a person shot.

When they got to the scene, they found a person who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to police, people were inside the salon when an argument led up to the shooting.

“We are still working to determine why they were in the salon,” said Lt. Germaine Dearlove.

The suspect stayed on the scene and was taken to be questioned.

Police have not released the name of the suspect or victim.
