PnB Rock’s murder investigation has yielded two new suspects charged with his death, Rolling Stone reports. Court documents reveal that Tremont Navon Jones, alongside Freddie Trone, appeared in court on Monday (Oct. 30).

Jones is currently being charged with two counts of robbery, one count of illegal possession of a firearm, and one count of conspiring to rob the Philadelphia artist.

Tremont is accused of alerting killers of Rock’s whereabouts during the time of his death. Jones allegedly fist-bumped PnB upon his arrival at the Roscoe’s Chicken’ N Waffles. He was previously arrested in May. However, the outlet details his case was filed under a different case number, which resulted in his involvement going unnoticed.

The other new suspect, Wynisha Evans, was charged with being an accessory after the fact. She was also arrested in May and allegedly drove Freddie Trone from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to escape the manhunt following the shooting.

Jones and Evans have pleaded not guilty to their respective charges. Freddie and Shauntel Trone have also pleaded not guilty to their charges.

PnB Rock died at age of 30 after being gunned down on Sept. 12, 2022. According to the Los Angeles Times, the artist, legally known as Rakim Hasheem Allen, was reportedly shot and killed during a robbery at the Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles South L.A. location.

Allen had been at the location eating with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang. Rolling Stone detailed that the suspects attempted to cover up their crimes. Trone tried to set the getaway car on fire and tried to flee the scene on Sept. 13, 2022, but the botched effort led investigators back to their trail.

Los Angles police Capt. Kelly Muniz detailed the robbery, stating the victim drew a weapon and demanded the artist hand over his jewelry. “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” she said. Allen was then transported to a hospital and pronounced dead around 1:59 p.m. PT.

The suspect reportedly brandished a firearm and demanded items and jewelry.
